Chris, David and the staff at Cabot and Sons were excellent in handling the affairs for our loved one, Peter Cavalieri. Definitely would recommend them. Now, if you decide to go to San Fernando Mission for burial, be prepared to check and double check everything you do with the cemetery. It will save you a lot of headaches. They definitely could learn from Cabot and Sons.

Cabot and Sons helped me honor my Grandfather, and I will certainly return to honor my entire family here. Esther, in particular, made us feel like part of the family, as if she had known me for years! We entered with a lot of anxiety but left with a profound sense of comfort and relief. Esther truly listened and went above and beyond! I must also commend the makeup artist who worked on my grandfather; they made him look incredibly peaceful, as if he were peacefully asleep. Initially, our plan was for a closed casket, but after witnessing the remarkable transformation, we decided at the last minute to have an open casket. My heartfelt thanks go out to Cabot & Sons and especially to Esther for their exceptional service."

From the beginning when we first arrived at Cabot and Sons, I knew we were in the right place. I knew my mom would be cared for here. David Cabot and all the staff were very professional and sincere. They were very compassionate and very accommodating they knew that our family needed comfort and they made sure that everything (arranging the funeral service and cremation) were as smooth as possible. They gave us the options we can avail and granted our specific requests. Being Asian our family are used to attending funeral receptions that last for at least 3-4 days long so many relatives can visit. Therefore, when I first heard that in Cabot and Sons we only had three - four hours long. I was a bit discouraged I wanted to spend more time with my mother, but then I guess that is how the culture is here in America. What I can say now is that I was very wrong. When we held my mom’s funeral service in Cabot and Sons. The three hours long, service was more than enough. It was actually intimate and meaningful. The place was very clean, presentable and quiet. It was just right. I felt that my mom would be very glad that her funeral service was very well done, in a very nice place. Thanks a lot to David, Chris, Brian and staff. Thanks for your excellent service.

When our mother was put on hospice care, we began to organize her pending funeral. For our father 16 years ago, we used another firm and again contacted them, a large corporate-owned business in the San Gabriel Valley. They misinformed us on what needed to happen upon Mom's death, which sent us scurrying. Because she lived several hundred miles from where she would be buried, we began the arduous task of finding a funeral home to remove her remains from the Sacramento area. After many phone interviews with these funeral homes, we then personally met with them. All of them belonged to the same corporation, yet, not one of them bothered to inform us that the San Gabriel-based affiliate should handle everything! After three stressful months and still no arrangements in sight, we lost patience. It was then that we found Cabot and Sons Funeral Home and explained our dilemma to Mr. Chris Cabot. He was very calm and quickly set things to right. Within a few minutes on the phone, we were informed how the structure would work to remove Mom to southern California once she passed. From that phone call on, we had the best possible service, kind and personal, with reasonable pricing. Upon Mom's death, we simply made a call to Chris, and all was quietly handled in a most timely, discreet, and professional manner. Chris expertly guided all our detailed requests, even the AV technical needs, and last minute changes in the funeral service without missing a beat. Most important, the funeral and grave side services were exactly what the family needed to have gentle closure for such a personal loss. As well, Cabot's web site is concise and clearly informative, while their facilities are very well done. I completely recommend them to any family needing these services.

I can't even begin to express how truly thankful I am to have chosen Cabot & Sons for my daughters cremation. Of the 12 companies that I called for quotes, Cabot & Sons pricing was the absolute best. Christopher was the most humble and understanding person I could ask to help me. I was a total mess, but he made me feel welcome and comforted me at my desperate time of need.

The folks at Cabot & Sons made my recent experience as close to a pleasure as it could be. David Cabot was courteous, sympathetic, helpful, respectful, and completely professional at every step of the way. The facility is recently renovated and absolutely beautiful. We had 85 guests for the funeral and the chapel fit them comfortably with room for quite a few more if we had needed the space. We also made use of the great reception room right there in the building, with a well-equipped kitchen and pleasant decor. These folks have been handling the details for people for many years and it shows. David provided answers to many questions and helped resolve some paperwork challenges on my part. Everyone we met and worked with was completely professional and helpful. They were even able to provide us with a pastor to handle the service and he was perfect. From flowers to official documents, everything was handled calmly and efficiently. And the cost ended up being less than I expected. There were no hidden fees and I feel I absolutely got my money's worth. Thank you, David, for all of your help. As much as I appreciate what you do, I do hope we don't have to meet again anytime too soon...

I worked with Chris Cabot today, who was helping with a problem I had as a result of work done by another funeral home. He was very personable, attentive and great to work with. He fixed a problem that he had no obligation to fix, speedily and with great care. I would definitely use Cabot & Sons in the future.

We wanted a celebration of life service for our dad and Cabot & Sons was the perfect venue. They are located in a lovely part of Pasadena and there is nothing stark, grim or "funereal" about their premises. We worked with George from start to finish. His family has owned and operated the business for 90 years. George took charge and gently and compassionately helped us navigate through what could have been an overwhelming process. Cabot & Sons offers a staggering number of services to meet every need, and they really take care of every detail. Their prices are also reasonable and I found George to be so nice and easy to work with. He is a man of faith, and that offered me a lot of comfort and peace during the saddest of days.

When my mom passed away, they were so helpful, kind, and accommodating. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality. We had a service in the chapel and a reception in the room in the back, and everything was lovely. They even had nice touches that we didn't think of, like putting tissues in the front pews.

We had services for my mother-in-law at Cabot & Sons and we could not have been more pleased. They were warm, compassionate, flexible and understanding. Their prices were very reasonable and they were very understanding when it came to our budget. There were no hidden fees or charges. We hope we do not need to use them again soon, but hope they are still there when the need arises again.

The Cabot family is simply the best in the business. Unfortunately we've used them a couple times for my husband's grandparents and just this week for my father in law. David Cabot helped us through the whole process. They fulfilled every request we had. We had a very very huge turn out, I mean hundreds of people, for the whole thing and they handled it very professionally and patiently. I really appreciate that they are not pushy in any way. I cannot speak highly enough of Wendell Cabot, the Cabot family and everyone who worked there. In the past few years I had horrible experiences with two mortuaries, and one that was fine, so I do have something to compare them to...However Cabot and Sons gave me the only peace I had during the whole process of losing my brother and arranging his services. They were kind, compassionate, generous, professional and helpful...beyond the norm...no pushing or taking advantage as is often the case. I am so grateful to have had them handle everything for me...from the cremation, to the service, to the reception in their facility...they took care of and provided everything for us, and then some. Thank you Wendell and family...

Cabot & Sons is a business that really cares. It's refreshing to see a Mortuary that treats its Customers like Family. We have used there services twice and can truly say they are the most honest integrity base Mortuary. During your time of sorrow most companies take advantage of your grief, vulnerability and try to up sell you. They deliver excellent service and are reasonably priced. I would highly recommend to use their services.
